Emerging Risks and Risk Management

At El Puerto de Liverpool, we focus on identifying and managing risks that may impact our activities in accordance with the requirements of each business unit, while also addressing those related to Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) aspects. The primary objective is to address these risks proactively through the implementation of prevention and mitigation plans.

However, starting in 2024 and as part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening governance and sustainability practices, we are evolving our risk management system through the implementation of the Comprehensive Risk Management Model (MIGR). This initiative will allow us to standardize and integrate the risks present in our operations, as well as the associated processes and controls.

The main goal of MIGR is to consolidate risks under a unified and effective governance framework, enabling us to manage them through a single administration and reporting system—aligned with international best practices.

The project is scheduled to be completed in 2025. By the end of that year, we will have a consolidated view of current processes, risks, and controls, strengthening both prevention and our ability to respond to unexpected events.

MIGR ensures that senior management and the company’s Board of Directors are informed about the most relevant risks, so they can actively participate in their management through various strategic approaches.
