Volunteering

We reaffirm El Puerto de Liverpool’s social commitment through our volunteer program, which directly benefits the communities in which we operate.

Our volunteer program is called “Dejando Huella” (“Leaving a Mark”), and it stems from the social pillar of our sustainability strategy “La Huella” (“The Footprint”).

The program’s objective is to facilitate the mobilization of the talent, time, and energy of El Puerto de Liverpool’s staff in favor of the social development of the communities where we operate.

Our employees actively engage in volunteering, focusing on four main areas:

  • Education: We work to improve the quality of education by enhancing school spaces and motivating teachers and students.
  • Environment: We promote environmental protection through reforestation, conservation of natural spaces, and beach clean-ups.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: We encourage community integration activities and raise awareness on inclusion-related topics.
  • Nutrition: We participate in projects aimed at the distribution and conscious consumption of food for vulnerable communities in Mexico.

These activities are mainly carried out in collaboration with foundations or civil society organizations that are part of our donation program.
